I really enjoyed the last two episodes of Marvel 's Cloak and Dagger, but this episode lost me. It was one big setup, and I really hope this show doesn't take an entire season to kick off like Runaways season 1.  On a side note, something about the title card bothers me. It is so cheesy and low quality. This episode starts with Tandy and Tyrone finally meeting up and once again it is under unfortunate circumstances. Tyrone teleported to Tandy right as he pulled the trigger of the gun he was holding, and it caused her to crash. Their encounter was brief and pretty pointless since Tandy just drove away immediately after. I liked the blurred lens, high-pitched ringing, and exaggerated lights that were used to display Tandy driving with a possible concussion. It made me nervous to watch but properly put the audience in her shoes.  The rest of the episode was extremely slow. Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger is finally here! This show has been in development since July 2011. Seven years later we finally get to see the iconic due on screen. Cloak, or Tyrone Johnson, played by Aubrey Joseph and Dagger, or Tandy Bowen, played by Olivia Holt. I’ll be honest; I was scared during the first twenty minutes of the episode. I was not impressed, and luckily the show got better. The introduction is just so dull. It didn’t feel creative at all; it was a cookie cutter origin story. It doesn’t help that the two child actors were not very good. It was trying to be a powerful and impactful opening, but it felt rushed and soulless. Next, we start to meet Tyrone and Tandy, complete with lousy pop songs playing in the background. The transition between the two characters was clunky, awkward, and it made no sense. There was no creativity behind it, no weaving themes or imagery. The scenes were so short; there was no time to get invested in the characters between the 10-sec...

Last time we saw the agents of SHIELD, they had just made the shocking discovery that they have traveled through time. The group all meet up again and we are introduced to a new character, Tess. Tess is an acquaintance of Deke and she hired Deke to protect Coulson's team. Tess said that the planet was torn apart by a cataclysmic event and the Kree saved the remaining survivors, imprisoned them, and deleted all history and data from Earth. The Kree have also heard the rumors of SHIELD coming to free the peope, so they are constantly on the lookout and kill anyone who continuos to spread rumors. May and Simmons follow Tess to the living areas for humans. It is dirty, run down, and very crowded. While on the floor, the Kree come and tell everyone that Kasius has decided to let them have food. Dry food them drops from a pipe onto the floor and people start going crazy over the food. Fights break out during the chaos and one of the Kree's servants is stabbed. Without thinki...

The last time we saw our friends over at SHIELD, they had just escaped the Framework and defeated Madame Hydra, but someone still had to take the fall for creating the Life Model Decoys in the first place. They all decided to face the problem as a team and they allowed themselves to be arrested in a diner. However, the next thing they knew they were in space! It was an interesting twist and a great cliffhanger to keep fans eagerly awaiting the next season. Space is a new frontier for Agents of SHIELD and Mack (Henry Simmons) perfectly described the situation by saying, "Yeah, that makes sense. It's the one thing we haven't done yet!" The intro to this episode really surprised me! I thought we were being introduced to a new villain, but I wasn't too sure what to expect. Next thing I know there was a pile of human skin on a bench and an eerie silhouette in the shower! The same man then headed to a warehouse and grouped up with some soldiers in a disguised va...

The trailer for Marvel's highly anticipated finale to the first three phases of the MCU has dropped today! As a result, there are a lot of things that were discovered about Avengers: Infinity War ! 1. The Soul Stone could be in Wakanda A major part of the new trailer shows many of the heroes protecting Wakanda from Thanos and the Black Order's army. Thanos wouldn't waste his time attacking a city that has no use to him, so why is he attacking Wakanda? Wakanda could be a hiding place for the last infinity stone, the Soul Stone. This theory is also supported by the Black Panther trailer when T'Challa is shown walking around some sort of spiritual realm. This could be possible with the Soul Stone. 2. Captain America gets his shield back After the events of Captain America: Civil War , Captain America leaves his shield behind after Tony tells him that he doesn't deserve to have the shield. Wow, I don’t even know where to begin with this review. There were so many things about this movie that I loved and I have to start somewhere, so I’ll start with this: nothing will ever top Stan Lee’s cameo in this movie. This was hands down his best cameo yet and I can’t stop thinking about it! Vol. 2 picks up a couple months after the first Guardians of the Galaxy ends. This means the team is still relatively new and getting used to working together efficiently. The opening credits were the most fun I have had in the theater since the airport fight in Civil War . It was action packed and had the audience laughing the entire time. It allowed every character to shine and uniquely display their fighting styles, skills, and characteristics. Daisy struggles to adapt to the Framework. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has tackled a lot of famous Marvel storylines and this week the show tried something very bold. Marvel Comic's “What If?” series takes famous stories and characters and asks the question of “What if instead of this happening, this happens?”. Marvel has tackled famous questions like, “What if Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four?” or “What if Captain America hadn’t vanished during World War 2?”. Now, Agents of SHIELD asks, “What if the world was taken over by Hydra?” The answer results in a thrilling episode and a fresh take on some of our favorite characters. In the previous episode, Daisy and Simmons enter the Framework, a computer programmed world, with a job to find their friends and meet at the extraction point to escape the virtual reality.
